Mindscapes, Moonscapes, Landscapes, Dreamscapes (ages 11-15)

What landscapes surround you? How do you fit into the landscape? How do you transform it? Using the concept of landscape as a point of departure, Mindscapes invites kids from a Bronx parochial school to use film, photography, poetry, prose, storytelling, and sculpture to explore, invent, and redefine the landscapes that surround them. Together with adult creative mentors, kids explore the various worlds around them. The project will culminate in a film directed by award-winning film maker Tamra Raven that explores both the landscape of this project and the landscapes of home, school, and neighborhood from which the kids come.
