Our Mission

All Gorilla Press books are written by kids, for kids. We work with communities, schools, and families to make kids' books and promote literacy. The mission of The Gorilla Press is to help kids seize the tools of storytelling, writing, editing, and publishing. Founded in 2000 by Dr. Jennifer Natalya Fink, The Gorilla Press is a non-profit organization whose aim is to promote literacy through book-making. Our goal is to empower, educate, and enlighten both children and adults through books.
